Delightful Audiobook! The audiobook is a witty satirical delight! If you appreciate Richard Ayoade’s clever humor, this is a must read/listen.I give it credit for existing. Four things stood out to me. One, he wrote a book about things, and for some people that sort of thing is an accomplishment. Two, Ayoade is surprisingly not the chubby actor from Little Britain. Which is great! Three, he did not make any pro-Nazi or holocost denial comments. Which I approve of. And the fourth thing that stood out to me was that I only had three things and should have thought about this more before I started.I have not seen the movie "View From The Top". I'm not even sure it really exists. Ayoade could be a big fat liar, and I'm too lazy to look it up on IMDB. But his description of it makes me somehow not want to see the movie even more than I did before I knew it existed.Four out of five stars for occasional mild humor, sentences that puncuated correctly, and again for not being a Nazi.Brilliant and odd I have no idea why this book was written or who I would recommend it to - but despite that I laughed out loud and really enjoyed it. For whatever reason this is the most in-depth analysis of a the movie View from on top, a movie I’ve never seen. The pretentious, hilarious, and oddly serious decomposition of this movie somehow really works. I’m equal parts baffled and entertained.
